Memorial Day has come and it’s the unofficial start of summer, so let’s pull the shorts out and enjoy the sun! Wearing shorts and heels can be tricky – this is a look that you want to wear in a classy way, not distastefully! The trick is finding the right shorts length for you. Choose the length that you feel comfortable and confident in. Wearing shorts with heels can be done in a tasteful manner, but don’t have your butt cheeks out, unless you are working in a field that requires you to wear that type of clothing. When you’re out and about, you want to inspire others with a fashion – forward look that catches the eye. Also, wear nude colored underwear that matches your skin tone. Keep your look from behind smooth and neat and strut you stuff!
Below, I am wearing shorts that I purchased from The Limited. I was able to match a jacket with them that was already in my closet. Remember, a jacket is the perfect way to refresh your look. Shopping from my closet, I created three fun looks: 1) teaming my shorts with a matching jacket and a lace – up heel; 3) an all – white look with a pair of ankle strap wedges.
