If you are like me, you love shopping and these days shopping is made easy with just one key stroke! If you are not a big shopper and get a little frustrated when shopping for items you need, I have some shopping tips to help you get the most for your money.
1. We are in a season transition, so this is always a good reason to shop. If you don’t want to spend a lot on trendy items, invest in essential summer pieces to refresh your summer wardrobe. For example, if you have a maxi skirt, buy new tees or halter tops. You may want to join in on chic trends shops like Old Navy, 6pm.com, Forever 21 for denim shorts and rompers. To jazz up your maxi dress, get a pair of embellished flat sandals.
2. Buy pieces you can transition to for Fall. This is the perfect time to catch deals on items like jackets, LBD ( a wardrobe must-have) and booties. Most of these items you can wear now and later. Jackets are perfect all year round. Go for a crop style and bright colors. Also, booties looks great with shorts and rompers. And you can never have too many LBDs, a great day or night look.
3. Know your budget and stick to it. Before going to the mall, search the website for items you are interested in. Name brands like Steve Madden, Guess, Vince Camuto & Michael Kors are sold every where so compare your prices. Try not to make hasty purchases and think outside of the box. Ask your self, ” how would I wear this?” or “what would I wear with this”?
4, Yes, you can have a runway look for less! I constantly search out high-end items, but I always look for a similar look for less. Example: The lace up sandal trend is HOT right now, but do I really want to invest $$$ into a pair? Although this look is polished and classy, it might not be around to stay. So when buying trendy items, invest less. Look for similar styles that are cheaper and create a wish list.
Remember ladies, take out the time to invest in yourself. When you look good, you feel good. It is possible to create a wardrobe that is fabulous and on point! In my opinion, style and fashion go together because they both help us express ourselves without saying a word! When you enter the room, what people see first should speak volumes. I hope this shopping guide helps and if you have any questions, please feel free to comment or contact me.
LOVE & PEACE!
