When I think of Tracee Ellis Ross, I think of fashion, style, and a woman who is confident in her own skin. I feel the positive energy she possesses in an industry that isn’t as accepting of black women and our true versatility of beauty and fashion. Tracee represents true Black Girl Power.
We all know that Tracee always rocks the red carpet! She is the RED-CARPET QUEEN who slays and never holds back. She is a true style icon, who inspires us all with her fierceness and bold tastes in fashion. So, when I heard that she would be collaborating with JCPenney with her clothing line, I was super excited!
I knew at first sight that I would be purchasing the Kindness Long Sleeve Mock Neck Bodycon Dress. It’s my “lucky dress” because it has an adorable lady bug at the top right shoulder. I also purchased the black Miracle Long Sleeve Kimono. Both pieces are nice in quality and they fit true to size. I would call the kimono an essential piece to add to your wardrobe because of the minimally tailored style and it can be worn with almost everything.
I was hanging out with my friend Erica, at the pop up park, The ARTLot and we took the opportunity to take some photos of me in my new outfit. When styling my look, I had Tracee Ellis Ross in mind, so I went for a chic, sexy, but relaxed look. My style is contemporary with a vintage feel. I paired the outfit with a pair of kitty heel booties from BOOHOO and fishnet socks. Anyone that knows me, knows that I love wigs, so I went for a classic pageboy look in black. I feel every woman should own at least one wig-I mean it’s the quickest way to switch your look up and it keeps you covered on those bad-hair days.
