Valentine’s Day Outfits

It’s that time of year to think about what to wear on Valentine’s Day. I really don’t make a big fuss about it, being that I have been married for over 25 years, but every now and then,  my husband will surprise me with more than a box of Godiva chocolates.  During the month of February, I love to show my support for this special LOVE day by wearing Red. So, what will you wear? If you are like me, you don’t want to buy something new, unless its a very special day and just maybe he is going to “POP THE QUESTION“.

The first look I am wearing is a jumpsuit from Fashion Nova that I purchased during the summer.  I am wearing it with a sheer bodysuit for a hot & sexy look. My Betsey Johnson Pom-Pom pumps completed this outfit, giving it a fun and sweet feel.

This Eva Mendes Collection – Florentina Tiered Print Dress is one that I love! It’s fun and fresh and if you are single and going out, all heads will turn and you will be showered with roses. For you married ladies, this dress will rekindle some sparks and have him stepping up his game and bringing it back to the day you first met! The tiered silhouette is stunning, with vivid red floral print and it fits true to size. It’s a great investment for any occasion.

Last but not least, there is nothing wrong with keeping it casual on a date. There are so many options you can choose from that are stylish, sexy and chic. One of the HOTTEST trends this season are kimonos. A kimono will give any look-life. The floral kimono  I am wearing features a plush velvet trim and vibrant floral motif. The woodland green hue is gorgeous and I love the hot pink floral detailing. I added a  body shaper stretch camisole and jeans. I completed my look with a beautiful velvet sandal by Steve Madden. If it’s too cold, you can wear a pair of boots or pumps.

Take these outfit ideas and put your own spin on it. They are all easy to create and if you don’t have any of these options in your closet, I made an inexpensive selection you can shop and wear on any day.
