Hello everyone! I can’t believe this week is almost over and we are heading into the weekend. That brings me to this past weekend’s fashion show that I attended. The Paris In Spring Time Fashion Show was turned up to the max with ready-to-wear pieces that were unique in style and design! The show was presented by GBOCT Women’s Ministry VWM and hosted by Toni Smith. The show commentator, Amanda Cooper of Entercom Radio Atlanta, kept the audience enthused with anticipation! The designers B Hunt Coutures and Adamus Fashions By Daphania Adams did not come to play! Their designs were far from the typical trendy fashions that you see every day. Both collections did an amazing job infusing color into classic feminine pieces. On the catwalk, I fell in love with B Hunt Coutures’ wearable perforated navy and white dress and multi-colored show stopper sequin gown!
Adamus Fashions by Daphania Adams’ collection was striking with a modern vibe that tricked the eye. What a breath of fresh air! Her creations are like a fashion force of nature and are something you rarely see on the runway here in Atlanta! I love the black fringe jumpsuit and its edgy-glam style, but the feather mini dress has to be my favorite runway look of the entire show! It was a showstopper with feather detail and a sequin neckline that elegantly came down the back of the dress.
Although I wasn’t in Paris, being at this event was close enough. I enjoyed the food, music, and people. I look forward to next year’s fashion show and its theme.
