Hello everyone! I want to ask- would you wear a romper? I know for me, wearing this fun one- piece was totally out of the question, but being a wardrobe stylist, I always ask my clients to step outside the box sometimes and try something new. Once I purchased my first romper, I was very happy with the look and I have been wearing them ever since. Rompers originally started as children’s clothing, a comfortable onesie that was easy to play and move around in. So when you think of a romper, that is the first thing that comes to mind.
The romper was also popular with women in the 1950s and in the 70s, it re-emerged as a fashion for adult women. I remember owning a terry cloth one in a tube top style and I wore it so much that it fell apart! Of course, through the years in fashion, the romper has evolved and it’s definitely considered a staple go-to piece. They come in all sizes, lengths, and styles. The key is finding the right one that you feel good in and love wearing.
The lovely yellow and black romper I am wearing is from my shop, OTBFASHIOHS.SHOP. The length of this romper is perfect and I love the halter neck style. You can easily dress this romper up or down. It would make a great piece to wear to the Essence Festival on July 4th! I don’t believe in labeling clothing as age-appropriate because I feel its all in how you wear it. Your clothes should make you feel good, so if you are not feeling it, I always say don’t wear it. Visit my store today! This romper is now on sale and use code SLAY to save 20% on selected items.
