Blogger Style: Look Of The Day!

Today’s look is fun and flirty and it takes me back to 1983 with Cindy Lauper’s, “Girls Just Want To Have Fun!” When I think back, fashion is pretty much the same. We wore vibrant, bold-colored hair, lots of tulle, stylish denim and graphic tees. I remember going through my colored hair phase, cutting one side of my hair, shaved close to my head.😂 I also wore my lace gloves and tulle skirts with an oversized blazer. If you have been following my blog since day one, you know with every fashion and style post, I love to tell a story. I try to keep my posts short and sweet and just drop the deets, but the storyteller inside of me can’t resist. 🤷🏽‍♀️ One of my favorite places to shop during that time was a store called Merry Go Round. I worked at Camelot Music in the mall and they were right next to each other. Every payday, I headed next door to get the latest style that was trending. Man! I miss those days when the only care that I had in the world, was what to wear and what parties I was attending over the weekend🤪 Let me stop with the reminiscing and get back to the dress. I love the classic turtleneck style of this LBD. The tulle hem makes it fun and flirty for date night or a day brunch. You could also wear this to a cocktail party by dressing it up with metallic heels. The fabric is soft and warm and isn’t thin at all! It’s a true turtleneck sweater dress. The fit is true to size but has plenty of stretch. I am wearing a size medium, and my dress size is between 10-12. With the tulle hem, this dress length stops right at the knee and gives it a sheer, sexy illusion. If you are looking for a dress that is unique in style and speaks volumes of chicness with a flattering fit, this is it! Girl Get It Sweater Dress (HERE)
